These are three of many fascinating scriptures that prove the origin of the scriptures is from God.
Psalms 8:8 | The birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, Whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. | Written approx 3,000 years ago Verified discovered in 1854 AD |
Genesis 9:4 Leviticus 17 |
Only you shall not eat flesh with its life,
that is, its blood. It is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall not eat any fat or any blood.’ |
Ancient books that God states not to consume blood. We know today that blood of Animals may contain harmful bacteria |
Job 38:16 | Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? Or hast thou walked in the recesses of the deep? | Oceans do contain fresh water springs |
A few quotes from Paul Davies, an English physicist amongst many other accolades, from a secular point of view:
"There is for me powerful evidence that there
is something going on behind it all... It seems as though somebody has
fine tuned nature's numbers to make the Universe... the impression of
design is overwhelming." |
Scientists are slowly waking up to an
inconvenient truth - the universe looks suspiciously like a fix. The
issue concerns the very laws of nature themselves.
For 40 years, physicists and
cosmologists have been quietly collecting examples of all too convenient
"coincidences" and special features in the underlying laws of the
universe that seem to be necessary in order for life, and hence
conscious beings, to exist. Change any one of them and the
consequences would be lethal.
Fred Hoyle, the
distinguished cosmologist, once said it was as if "a super-intellect has
monkeyed with physics". To see the problem, imagine playing God with the cosmos. Before you is a designer machine that lets you tinker with the basics of physics. Twiddle this knob and you make all electrons a bit lighter, twiddle that one and you make gravity a bit stronger, and so on. It happens that you need to set thirty something knobs to fully describe the world about us. The crucial point is that some of those metaphorical knobs must be tuned very precisely, or the universe would be sterile. Example: neutrons are just a tad heavier than protons. If it were the other way around, atoms couldn't exist, because all the protons in the universe would have decayed into neutrons shortly after the big bang. No protons, then no atomic nucleuses and no atoms. No atoms, no chemistry, no life. Like Baby Bear's porridge in the story of Goldilocks, the universe seems to be just right for life. |
"It
may seem bizarre, but in my opinion science offers a surer path to God
than religion." |
"Science is about explaining the world, and
religion is about interpreting it. There shouldn't be any
conflict." |
There are many people who possibly would disagree with Paul Davies in his beliefs, while stating Paul Davies comments are theories that don't prove anything.
When this author is reads Paul Davies' comments, it is very clear that he is expressing only his observations from a scientific viewpoint, that there is evidence pointing to a designer that is God.
In a wonderful video from Jordan Peterson, entitled the Death of God, these are paraphrased points being made:
The pattern is something to the affect of introducing a theory and then adding of additional theories, where the writer will state since the second part of the theory is plausible or provable, then the first theory must be plausible and therefore true.
The best option on reading white papers dealing with evolution, cosmology, chaos theory, and so many areas that can have conflicting or derogatory information against God is to realize that any factual information actually confirms a Designer, which is God. This is what Paul Davies is stating.
God was and is absolutely required to have created everything, always needed for everything to exist and the greatest privilege in our lives is to have a relationship with God the Father, the Son of God Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit. Our relationship with God is because of what Jesus Christ has done for us to make it possible. If you haven't asked Jesus Christ to be your Savior, do it now.
