The author believes God's Word is truth and with great satisfaction, it is free for all of those who would take the time to read it and share it. The copyright notice is only put here to stop plagiarism in a publication with the end result of profiting from research done by others. Unfortunately, we all know in the Christian Realm, there are books, magazines and general publications on websites that are too often put out by those for the sole purpose of making money. The author has no problem giving permission to use information from this website for the benefit of Christ's Church but not for those who are working against it or profiting for the wrong reason which includes plagiarism.
When we recognize and understand that our gifts on understanding and speaking about the scriptures is from the Holy Spirit then we will receive increased wisdom, revelations and feeling of love from God and for God, along with the growing understanding of our frailties as sinners. When we think that we are somehow deserving and better than others because of increased knowledge of the scriptures, then we are purposely or unknowingly taking glory from God.
John 15:1-2 and John 15:5 |
1 I am
the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard.
2 He cuts off every branch in Me that bears
no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it
even more fruitful.
5 I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing. |
There are many people who love God, but publicly are putting their name above God on how they present themselves when speaking and acting in spiritual matters along with how they act in their public lives. If we are not humble, then we are harming ourselves and limiting the Holy Spirit.
Colossians 3:23-24 | 23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. |
Matthew 6:2 | So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. |
There are two amazing examples, of many, in the scriptures with Joseph and Daniel who show the proper acknowledgment of the source of knowledge is God. Notice how they explained the gift of interpreting the dreams came from God and not themselves.
Genesis 41:15-16 | 15 Pharaoh said to Joseph, I had a dream, and no one can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it. 16 I cannot do it, Joseph replied to Pharaoh, but God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires. |
Daniel 2:25-28 | 25 Arioch took Daniel to the king at once and said, I have found a man among the exiles from Judah who can tell the king what his dream means. 26 The king asked Daniel (also called Belteshazzar), Are you able to tell me what I saw in my dream and interpret it? 27 Daniel replied, No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, 28 but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come. Your dream and the visions that passed through your mind as you were lying in bed are these: |

This website only uses some simple java and everything displayed is using simple HTML
The author of the topics found in Biblical Thoughts is following the admonition of 1 Peter 3:15 and to impart knowledge about the Savior Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 3:15 | But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. |
Ps 40:7 and Heb 10:7 | The volume of the Book is written of Me (Jesus the Christ) |
The majority of Bible readers, that are both Christian and not a Christian, look at the Bible for:
Reading the scriptures will always yield benefits in someone's life when the time is given to studying, where a person who takes the time to study will be witnessed to by the Holy Spirit to become a Believer in Jesus Christ if they are not a Christian. The scriptures have changed the destiny of people in History as recorded in the life of Alexander the Great who was shown a scriptural passage that freed the captive Jewish people in Babylon.
Isaiah 55:11 | So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. |

The answer is definitely "yes" to mistak3s in Biblical Thoughts topics. A little humor, if you saw the spelling of mistakes.
All interpretations of God's Word by mankind is subject to mistakes because we all are imperfect. If we all are honest, then we will admit that much of our own and everyone's understandings of God's Word has improved, been clarified, became more relevant and more literal as all of us mature in our Christian Faith. It is the utmost desire of the author of Biblical Thoughts to be accurate, impart, explain, guide and be an aid in all of the reader's Faith.
The Bible, in our current translations, does have mistakes, which protractors like to point out. The mistakes are well known by Biblical Scholars that have resulted from translational problems, deliberate sabotage in some ancient manuscripts, misunderstood verses that appear to be contradictory, typographical errors, and the loss of original meaning of a word used in verses. There are many excellent Internet Sites that listed the translational issues and prove the inherency of the Original Scriptures.
A funny error in the 1716 Edition of the King James ~ Party Bible, has Jeremiah 31:34's "sin on more". Another example is the very common reported error by critics of the Bible with the Bronze Basin error which is not an error but the Biblical Text is purposely changed by the Holy Spirit for accuracy when dealing with the circumference of the basin.
Regarding interpretations, it is the belief of Biblical Thoughts that the Bible's Scriptural prophecies, guidance and God's Love for us is becoming more and more understood as Daniel 12:4 indicates will happen in the last days of the Church Age. Therefore, many well-meaning sermons, books, word of mouth thoughts given by all of us in the past are continually being amplified, refined, fixed and given more enlightenment by the work of the Holy Spirit!
Daniel 12:4 |
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. |
The
following is an excerpt from the start of the
Bible Source Text:
As listed in
other places on Biblical Thoughts, there are the:
that prove the Bible has to have it source from outside of the human, earthly and universe domain. Undeniably and most importantly, the influence of God in the Christian's life when we hand ourselves over to His control will be convincingly enough. |
The Biblical Thoughts - For God's Glory website, endeavors to counteract against the problems too often seen in Church, Christian environments and Christian websites as explained in these 4 points. These points are listed in the hopes that those who are Christians will adjust some of the ways information is presented to better impact the world for Jesus Christ.
1. For those who are serving God in public speaking and publications, you should reevaluate your philosophy, stance and method on making your name prominently referenced in any type of publication or speaking engagement. Additionally, all things ostentatious, such as clothing, houses, vehicles and vacation publicity should be done with prayer and consideration of the message you are sending to not only the unsaved world but to Christians.
2. The Holy Spirit never points to Himself but always points to God the Father and Jesus Christ. Even at our best, we still owe everything to the Holy Spirit who gives us the words to use in public and the guidance to act appropriately. We all know that the unsaved world often points to hypocritical, self-appointed Christian leaders who are caught too often in adultery, embezzlement and living the life of the most extreme wealthy and famous.
3. This author, when doing very long hours, days, months and even years of research on a topic through books and then on the Internet, find it amazing and embarrassing that way too many Christian websites and publications:
4. If you know how to look behind webpage content, you can find out easily this website's author's name, which I have had to put for copyright protection. I acknowledge that I take pride in what I have written because I believe I am serving God whom I love. It is amazing how often, when revisiting topics that I have written, require corrections, clarifications and more details. This has taught me:
What to read next?
What is Salvation? Is it possible to lose Salvation? We have eternal life. Evolution is not real. When a Christian suffers is there benefits from it. Rewards in heaven. Do we Tithe? What does the 3rd Commandment tell us? What is Grace and Mercy? Is there an Age of Accountability? Is there a place of unending punishment and exile form God?
