After the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 C.E., the Jewish person was left for no place to worship and have sins removed by the offering of animal's blood.  Talmudic Judaism was the reinvention of the laws on worship and cleansing.

There are two versions of the Talmud:

• The Jerusalem Talmud
